It's always sad to see an iconic bass having had a refin to try and match the original colour and the result is it doesn't. The headstock still has the original Lake Placid Blue and looks amazing, the body was refinished to some kind of blue but not Lake Placid. What thankfully has not changed at all is the sound: this bass is killer! Both pickups have most likely been rewound, but this job was done superbly: it sounds ridiculously huge. NOHSC included.
